What a wonderful week! CI delivers two major national conferences

Local Government New Zealand EXCELLENCE Awards

The CI team couldn’t think of a better way to kickstart a busy season of in-person events than by delivering two major national conferences for longstanding clients – the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ)!

The Conference for General Practice saw more than 550 general practitioners and rural hospital doctors gather at Christchurch’s stunning new Te Pae (plus an additional 100 virtual attendees) for a well-deserved four days of learning and connection.

The purpose-built, world-class conference facility was the perfect place to host the dynamic programme, which included keynotes from leading health practitioners and public figures; interactive panel discussions and hands-on workshops; and the Fellowship and Awards ceremony, an uplifting celebration of achievement and contribution by Aotearoa’s general practitioners.

As GPs from across Aotearoa arrived in Ōtautahi, local government professionals headed to Te Papaioea Palmerston North for the Local Government New Zealand Conference and EXCELLENCE Awards! With the theme of ‘Te Wā Heke Mai - The Future’, the Conference provided the opportunity for 640 local council representatives to share best practice and sector knowledge, across a range of inspiring plenary and panel sessions, tours and walkshops - topped off with the fabulous EXCELLENCE Awards ceremony and gala dinner.

Having worked with both the RNZCGP and LGNZ for more than two decades, it was fantastic to get onsite and deliver these outstanding conferences – for both our valued clients and for their members, who contribute so much to our communities.
