Annual Scientific Meeting goes virtual

Over the next three days, the New Zealand Society of Gastroenterology Annual Scientific Meeting is taking place.

 “This is the first fully virtual event for the New Zealand Society of Gastroenterology Annual Scientific Meeting. It’s been a busy few weeks transitioning from an in-person to a fully virtual event, but it’s the safest method of delivery for our delegates in this current climate,” says Emma Prattley, Project Manager at Conference Innovators. 

Emma adds, “Whilst its unfortunate delegates can’t network together in Christchurch for an in-person conference, it’s great that we can deliver the full three-day programme online. This virtual experience will still allow for networking, education and an opportunity for people to share their research and work from the past year.”

Over 300 virtual delegates are joining the three-day programme to listen in on both national and international speakers covering a variety of topics. A networking hub is also in Christchurch where 50 local delegates have come together to watch the virtual event.
