Congrats to the New Zealand Parliamentary Rugby Team for beating the defending champs (Australia) in the Parliamentary Rugby World Cup in Japan 15-10 in extra time!

In 1995, in association with the Rugby World Cup in South Africa, a Parliamentary Rugby World Cup was established and the New Zealand Parliamentary Rugby Team won the Cup in 1995 and again in 1999, 2007 and 2011. Over the past week the PRT has been competing in Japan for the 2019 Parliamentary Rugby World Cup – looking for redemption after losing their title in 2015 to their Australian rivals - and we’re delighted to say New Zealand now holds the cup!
