Case Study

ANZFSS 23rd Symposium on the Forensic Sciences

The Australian & New Zealand Forensic Science Society
18-23 September 2016
Auckland, New Zealand

Conference Innovators warmly welcomed more than 1000 attendees to Auckland for this multidisciplinary meeting bringing together forensic experts from throughout Australia and New Zealand.

CI worked closely with the ANZFSS Committee to make sure every detail of the conference organisation was taken care of – from registrations to social functions, venue and supplier liaison to abstract management.

With a large volume of scientific papers expected, it was crucial the paper submission process was flawless. CI’s state-of-the-art EventsAIR software allowed for a fully automated process, streamlining submission and review from start to finish.

Almost 700 submissions were received, with the final four day programme involving 388 presentations run over 11 concurrent sessions of 8 streams – phew! We introduced electronic display boards for the 298 poster presentations - they not only looked slick but were a hit with delegates, who loved being able to scroll and explore the presentations at their leisure.

“The electronic delivery was excellent, and being able to access the posters during the day was great”
